“I have learned that sobriety with God is fun.”

What was life like for you before House of Cherith?
Life seemed meaningless. I was homeless and trying to stay sober, and it became harder. I had no goals or ambition. I had almost given up altogether. The people I was around were not safe for me. 

What have you been learning while at House of Cherith?
I have learned that sobriety with God is fun. I feel safer here. I like that I have my own room and I can work on myself. I feel seen and supported here. I also like that it is faith-based. I can be myself and relax. 

What are your goals and hopes for the future?
My hopes and dreams are to maintain my sobriety. My goals are to be financially stable and have my own house. I would also like to do online school when everything levels out.
