“I have never felt more proud of myself.”
“A lot led up to my stay at House of Cherith, but ultimately my incarceration is what led me to my breaking point. At that moment, I realized I couldn’t let my past continue to dictate my future. God led me to House of Cherith.
Since graduating from House of Cherith, I’ve maintained my housing, sobriety, healthy relationships, and boundaries with loved ones, rekindling my relationship with my husband. As much as I love sharing accomplishments I also value transparency— so I’ve also faced various struggles but have been able to tap into the things House of Cherith taught me and the life that was spoken over me during that time.
During these struggles, I’ve still maintained my housing, paid all bills, sobriety, etc. I’ve been able to face real-world situations without letting them destroy me.
One of my favorite memories at House of Cherith was the day I left. Everyone ran out front and cheered for me. I have never felt more proud of myself.”
