“Before House of Cherith, I felt like I was living like a robot. I was a person of obedience, no matter the circumstance. All I knew was that my body was a sacrifice to make my family rich. 

I was not capable of knowing my worth. My family trafficked me for a living. I taught myself to disassociate. I knew I needed to be a robot to live in this world. I would get beat if I acknowledged my feelings. 

When I came to House of Cherith I was finally at my breaking point of not wanting to be on earth anymore - but God told me that He had more for me. I knew I needed to stay open and heal to be able to be used by Him. For the first time ever I am going through healing and rest. 

At House of Cherith, I am learning that the circumstances of my past were wrong. I am learning that I have worth. God is re-teaching me how to be an elegant woman of His Kingdom - with no strings attached. 

I am able to live in a safe place where my body is now used as God’s temple. I can regain what God’s purpose is for me. I am in a healthy structure and I feel safe.”
