“It’s your time to finally be set free, So why not do it here at HOC.”
A poem to current residents by a former resident:
My advice that I will give to you girls is to remember what you came here for.
You just left that broken world and stepped into House of Cherith door,
I know it’s not easy, and this might all sound cheesy, but I promise you that you are safer than before.
When you start to feel like giving up because your pain is too much to bare,
Never lose sight of why you came here,
And always remember to go to that positive voice so that you may be able to share,
Because House of Cherith staff truly do care.
Some of you girls might have come to make a change.
Some of you girls might have come to relight the flame.
Some of you girls might have come to let go of the shame.
Some of you girls might have come to clear your name.
Some of you might have come because you are tired of the same old thing,
It all comes down to what you’re willing to bring.
So now it’s time to get the healing you need,
Be sure it’s your spirit you mostly feed.
It’s your time to finally be set free,
So why not do it here at HOC.
