HOC has impacted me in a great way.

I have a safe place to be in. I have my own room. I don’t have to worry about anything or all the mess on the outside world. I am able to focus on myself and my recovery from drugs and alcohol.

I am able to go to therapy where I can open up and just talk about anything but mostly focus and speak from where all my problems started which is from me being young.

I am also able to focus on my addiction and I got to substance abuse class and one on one with Steve. It helps me to recognize when I have any triggers and how to prevent a relapse.

I also meet with a clinician just to talk about how I am doing or to check in. HOC is a family to me, away from my real family and I know that with their help I will be a better person in society.
