“HOC has provided not only healing for myself but also healing for my family”

HOC has impacted my life in many ways. I initially, came here for safety and healing from trauma. I was angry at those that had hurt me and was struggling with forgiveness. HOC has provided not only healing for myself but also healing for my family by facilitating me being able to forgive them for their abuses against me. I no longer feel afraid, I have hope for a future and my painful memories are healing. I’m learning nothing can ever take away the horrific things I experienced but God can take this situation and turn it for my growth and good. I am indebted to the Deel family, C.O.R. and H.O.C.
